Uma árvore, por si só, pode nos trazer muitos benefícios. Desde a sombra aconchegante, até a folha de papel. As florestas plantadas (reflorestamentos) pelo homem devolvem a ele serviços e bens. Mas o equilíbrio tem que ser mantido com a preservação das matas nativas e a proteção dos mananciais, onde a flora e a fauna encontram ambientes diversificados.&lt;img height="32" src="http://www.cnpm.embrapa.br/campo/images/folha.gif" width="32" /&gt;&amp;nbsp;Sob o aspecto econômico, valiosos produtos obtemos da árvore: madeira para as construções e o mobiliário, celulose para o papel, carvão para as caldeiras, substâncias medicinais, óleos, resinas, gomas, essências, mel, frutos, flores e muitos outros.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img height="32" uma orla de areia alvíssima, formada no estuário de pequeno córrego caudaloso, que desagua no Rio Tietê. Ao entardecer, descambando o sol no horizonte, a natureza oferece um espetáculo deslumbrante, impregnando a vista do visitante com as cores de uma cena paradisíaca. Como se principiasse uma tempestade de luz, céu e terra se transformavam, ruborizados de início, para um momento despejarem cintilantes raios luminosos, numa fantasia cromática, intercalando matizes, como uma festa de focos e faróis deslumbrantes. Esse espetáculo de natureza marca na memória do visitante, como que uma referência de destaque, apontando como estaca, ao reencontro, às futuras jornadas, a lembrança do expressivo título que ficou para sempre, ressaltando e nomeando o local que nos acolhe: BARRA BONITA.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #4d473b; font-family: Arial, 'Trebuchet MS', Arial; font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;História de glória&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;As águas traçaram o percurso inicial de nossa história. Esta região sempre recebeu grande fluxo de bandeirantes, desde o tempo das colonizações, graças as facilidades de navegação pelo rio Tietê. Assim como eles, o rio desbrava e invade o interior do Estado de São Paulo.
